National and Regional PV LEGAL recommendations published
For each of the 12 countries of the project, detailed recommendations on how to improve the legal-administrative framework at national level and even for some countries at regional level, have been identified and formulated.
Each national partners of the project have been going through the whole process of developing a project from the request of a grid connection, to the obtaining of building permit, the necessity to provide an environmental assessment or the procedure to receive the feed-in tariff. The time required for the development of a same kind of project can diverge significantly from a country to another depending on the hurdles encountered.
The recommendations have been formulated depending on the local legal constriatns but also thanks to the experience shared among the 12 countries participating to the project. If such recommendations would be followed, unnecessary bureaucratic steps could be removed, enabling to reduce the cost of the support scheme in the same proportion and facilitating a quicker deployment of PV.
